BOGOTA “City Tour with Monserrate”: Breakfast. A staff member will meet you at the hotel to tour the city´s historic center. The first stop will be at Plaza de Bolivar to walk along the streets and take a close look at the most important buildings of the city, such as the National Capitol, which is the center of the country´s legislative life; Casa de los Comuneros; Casa de Nariño, the Presidential house; and the Santa Clara Church Museum. The tour includes visiting the Gold Museum, which exhibits about 34,000 pieces of metalwork from various Hispanic cultures. The time continues to the iconic symbol of Bogota, Monserrate Hill rising to 3,152 above sea level, to visit the sanctuary where you will find the statue of the Lord of Miracles. From there, it is possible to enjoy the best view of Bogota. Return to the hotel and overnight. Notes: Gold Museum is closed on Mondays; instead, we will visit the Botero Museum or Casa de la Moneda Museum. Duration: Approximately 05 hours. Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport as scheduled to take a flight to San Andrés. Reception and transfer from the Airport to the hotel of your choice in the public Taxis of the Island. Overnight. Notes: The purchase of a Tourism card, approximately USD 35 per person, is necessary to enter the Island. (It must be paid in Colombian pesos.) Following the government regulation of the Island, all transfers from Airport to the hotels and vice versa must be done with public taxis. “Tour Around the Island”: (Tour Around the Island) Breakfast. On this tour, a Panamericana de Viajes representative will be waiting for you at your hotel to start a tour around the island of San Andres where you will be able to admire the most touristic sites of this Colombian Caribbean destination. A stop of approximately 20 minutes will be made at Morgan's Cave, a place where, according to legend, the English buccaneer Henry Morgan hid some of the treasures he stole from the Spanish galleons. We continue our tour to the Natural Sea Pool at West View, where you can swim in the enchanting sea of the 7 colors for approximately 15 minutes. During the tour we will also stop at the Hoyo Soplador which is located at the southern tip of the island. This is a natural phenomenon produced by a series of tunnels that start in the coral reefs and end in a single hole several meters above the water. When the tide rises and a wave manages to enter with force inside these tunnels, it throws the compressed air out of the hole. The tour will end at the beautiful and enchanting beaches of San Luis which are characterized by their white sand and contrast with the blue sea. Notes: Service operates every day in regular service. “Johnny Cay, Haynes Cay, and Mangroves Excursion”: Breakfast. You must arrive at 09:00 hours at the Casa de la Cultura Pier, where you acquire your entrance ticket to Johnny Cay. There you will take the boat to the Islet of Johnny Cay to enjoy the beach and the contrast of the seven colors of our sea. Then, the tour continues to the islet of the aquarium for the sighting of stingrays, and we end with a visit to the OLD POINT mangroves. It operates every day. “City Tour”: Breakfast. You will meet one of our representatives at your hotel to begin a panoramic tour of Cartagena de Indias at the agreed time. During the circuit, you will pass through the modern area of Bocagrande and the Manga neighborhood, where you can see old houses from the beginning of the 20th century. Then you will visit the Castle of San Felipe de Barajas, with which the Spanish sought to defend themselves from English attacks in the seventeenth century. Finally, we continue with a short walk through the historic center of this beautiful city; the tour ends with visiting the emerald museum. Includes: Entrances to the Castillo San Felipe and the Esmeralda Museum. Duration: approximately 3 hrs. and a half. Departures: From Monday to Friday at 14:00 hrs. “Beach Tour”: Breakfast and transfer to start a full-day tour to the Rosario´s Islands National Park. There you´ll enjoy coral beaches and a variety of reef fauna, ideal for relaxing and swimming. Return to Cartagena and transfer to the hotel. Overnight. San Pedro de Majagua: Includes dock tax. It does not include transfers from hotel-dock-hotel. Isla del Encanto: Offers free transfer hotel to dock just for hotels at Bocagrande, historic center, and north zone. The dock-hotel transfer is not included. It does not include dock tax. Approx.
